Read about the latest drink drivers to be banned from the roads

A 66-year-old man pleaded guilty to drink-driving.

John Woollard, of Bramble Road, Retford, drove on the A57, Worksop, when he had 55 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35, on October 4.

At Mansfield Magistrates' Court, he was fined £161, banned from driving for three years, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and £85 costs.

A 76-year-old woman was fined £376 for drink-driving.

Betty Machin, of Wheatfield Crescent, Mansfield Woodhouse, pleaded guilty to driving with 157 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, over the limit of 80, on June 6.

She was banned from driving for 17 months, ordered to pay £37 towards victim services and costs of £85.

A driver was fined £507 and banned from driving for 12 months.

Ryan Parnill, 45, of Kedleston Court, Tibshelf, Alfreton, has to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and costs of £85.

Magistrates heard he pleaded guilty to driving in Mansfield Road, Skegby, when he had 55 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35, on October 5.

A woman was banned from the roads for 14 months.

Lesley Shelton, 43, of Vera Crescent, Rainworth, was fined £300 for drink-driving and has to pay £32 towards victim services and costs of £85.

At court, she pleaded guilty to driving with 59 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35.
