Read about the latest drink drivers to be banned from the roads

A 22-year-old man pleaded guilty to drink-driving in an Audi A4.

Josh Gillespie, of Derby Road, Sandiacre, was on the A52 Derby Road, Beeston, when he had 50 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35, on October 27.

At Nottingham Magistrates' Court, he was banned from driving for 16 months, ordered to pay £35 towards victim services and costs of £85.

No separate penalty was imposed after he pleaded guilty to speeding over 40mph and possessing cannabis on October 27.

A 60-year-old man was fined £290 for drink-driving.

Peter Shand, of Ariel Close, Basford, pleaded guilty to having 45 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35.

Nottingham Magistrates' Court heard he was in Maid Marian Way, Nottingham, when he was over the alcohol limit on October 27.

He was banned from driving for 12 months, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and £85 costs.

A woman was fined £120 and banned from driving for 17 months.

Leanne Stafford, 36, of Pierson Street, Newark, was ordered to pay £32 towards victim services and costs of £85.

Magistrates heard she was driving in Victoria Street, Newark, when she was over the drink drive limit on October 29.

A 52-year-old man from Mapperley pleaded guilty to drink-driving.

William Mugo, of Heaton Close, was over the drink drive limit in Bentinck Road, Radford, on October 26.

He was fined £250, banned from driving for 17 months, ordered to pay £32 towards victim services and costs of £85.
