A 19-year-old man pleaded guilty to drink-driving in Lenton Boulevard, magistrates in Nottingham heard.

Dalius Belausovas, of Kingsley Road, Sneinton, had 42 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35, on February 6.

He was fined £100, banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay £30 towards victim services and costs of £85.

He was additionally fined £75 for no insurance. No separate penalty was imposed for driving without a licence.

A 27-year-old woman was drink-driving in Baulk Lane, Harworth.

Elizabeth Hughes, of Riddell Avenue, Langold, Worksop, had 68 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35, on February 6.

At Mansfield Magistrates' Court, she was fined £207, banned from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.

A man pleaded guilty to drink-driving in a Fiat Punto in Woodhouse Road in Mansfield.

Joshua Temprell, 29, of Walesby Lane, Ollerton, had 55 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35, on February 8.

At Mansfield Magistrates' Court, he was fined £350, ordered to pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £35, and was banned from driving for 14 months.

A driver was fined £600 for drink-driving in Skegby Lane in Mansfield.

Timothy Knight, 35, of Brockley Avenue, Shuttleworth, Chesterfield, had 79 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35, on February 7.

After pleading guilty at court, he was banned from driving for 21 months, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.

A 46-year-old man pleaded guilty to drink-driving in a Vauxhall Corsa on the A634 Blyth Road, Blyth.

Magistrates in Mansfield heard banned driver Michael Jeram, of Manor Road, Maltby, Rotherham, had 120 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35, on February 5.

He received a 20-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, because the offence was serious.

The reasons given for the sentence were: High reading on excess alcohol aggravated by other road traffic offences; accident which involved damage to a vehicle and record for similar offending.

A suspended sentence was imposed to allow the defendant to address alcohol misuse and receive bereavement counselling.

The defendant must comply with the following requirements within the supervision period of 12 months: Have treatment for alcohol dependency by or under the direction of his supervising officer for nine months and complete a rehabilitation activity requirement for a maximum of ten days.

He was banned from the roads for 29 months, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £115.

His licence will be endorsed for further offences of disqualified driving, using the Vauxhall Corsa without insurance and taking the car without the owner's consent.
