Re:markable board appoints six new non-executive directors

People development organisation Re:markable has appointed six new non-executive directors to its board.

They have joined the board as Re:markable diversifies into different programmes beyond the Investors In People work it is best known for. They will work with Remarkable said it is seeking to embed its vision 'to inspire people and organisations to achieve their ambitions.'

The new non-executives are head of business response at Scottish Enterprise Denise Kerins, entrepreneur Simon Lidington and finance director Ron Robson.

The others are leadership development specialist Gillian Frame, board advisor and strategy specialist Russell Dalgleish and entrepreneur David Hicks who is the lead partner of Border Crossing.

The six took up their appointments on 13th January and joined existing board members Maria Bradshaw from Scottish Enterprise and Karen Moncrieff from Highlands and Islands Enterprise.

Re:markable chair Charles Quinn said: “I am delighted to welcome our new Remarkable board members. They join us at a hugely exciting time for the organisation as we are diversifying our portfolio and extending the reach of our brand across the UK.

“Collectively our new Non-Execs have impressive track records within their fields. Re:markable CEO Bonnie Clarke thanked board members stepping down for their years of service.

They are Charles Thompson from ORE Catapult, Alana Durnin from Oak Tree Housing and Linda Hanna from Scottish Enterprise.

She said: “We have been through unprecedented change at Remarkable and have been very grateful for their commitment and strategic thinking. We wish them all the very best”.
