Re-live former Ohio State linebacker Ryan Shazier’s day at the Spring Game last year

By now you know the journey that former Ohio State and Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier has been on. After sustaining a gruesome injury that left him partially paralyzed in an NFL game, he has been working hard to get the use of his legs back.

Today, Ohio State shared a flashback of Shazier’s day at the LifeSports Spring Game as an honorary coach last year. The video takes a stroll through his initial meet and greets with former coaches and players, then his coaching on the sidelines during the game while he makes his way up and down the sideline on a golf cart.

It might just give you chills.

It serves as a reminder of just how far Shazier has come. He has continued to progress to walking and now is even able to do box jumps as the below video that he shared shows. This one courtesy of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Keep on keeping on Ryan. We are all behind you! What an amazing story.
