Two talented Thai stars will perform with the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra during "San Jittakarn Plays Mozart Piano Concerto No.17" in the Small Hall of Thailand Cultural Centre, Ratchadaphisek Road, on Aug 9 at 7.30pm.

Presented by the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra Foundation under the patronage of HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, this is a delightful evening of baroque and classical music featuring San Jittakarn and Trisdee Na Patalung, two of the most eminent and successful Thai musicians of their respective generations.

The 20-year-old pianist San will perform Mozart's Piano Concerto No.17 In G Major, K 453, well suited to his finesse and artistry.

He recently completed his bachelor's degree at the Oberlin Conservatory before graduating from the Juilliard School of Music. He has won third prize in the Geneva International Competition and second prize in the Shigeru Kawai International Piano Competition.

A leading conductor and keyboardist in his mid-30s, Trisdee is also known and respected as a baroque specialist.

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience him directing Handel's famous Water Music Suite No.2 In D Major and Bach's iconic Overture from Suite 2 In B Minor. He will round off the programme with the playful Toy Symphony In G Major, traditionally attributed to Leopold Mozart.

Tickets cost 600 and 1,000 baht (half prices for students and seniors aged 60 and above) and can be purchased from Thai Ticket Major outlets (visit thaiticketmajor.com or call 02-262-3456).
