RBI MPC Meeting at a Glance: Your one-stop guide for all key decisions

The Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) on Wednesday unanimously decided to keep the policy repo rate unchanged at 5.25 per cent, while retaining its neutral stance after its 62nd meeting held from 3 to 5 August 2026.

With the decision, the Standing Deposit Facility (SDF) rate remains at 5.00 per cent, while the Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) rate and the Bank Rate continue at 5.50 per cent.

The meeting was chaired by RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra and attended by MPC members Dr Nagesh Kumar, Saugata Bhattacharya, Prof. Ram Singh, Dr Poonam Gupta and Indranil Bhattacharyya.
