This weekend is shaping up to be a big one for Georgia recruiting, with 10 five-stars planning on visiting Athens.
Among them is Zachary Evans (per Dawgnation), who ranks as the nation’s No. 1 running back in the 2020 class out of Houston, Texas. Additionally, Evans is considered the No. 6 overall player in his class according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Including Evans, Georgia will be hosting 10 five-stars from the 2020 and 2021 class combined this weekend. June 24th to July 24th is a recruiting dead period, according to NCAA rules, however, there is a quiet period between July 25-31, which allows for on-campus visits. Georgia is clearly utilizing the quiet period well.
