RB Melvin Gordon wants Chargers to sign Ndamukong Suh

Many supporters of the Chargers want the team to sign unrestricted free agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. But one player is also showing the desire to bring in Suh.

Running back Melvin Gordon went to his personal Twitter account to express his interest in being teammates with the disruptive defensive lineman.

Suh’s been wanted by fans since last offseason when he was a free agent, and before he eventually signed with the Rams on a one-year deal.

Now, Suh is a hot commodity once agains as he remains on the market. But there’s a reason L.A. hasn’t been active in attempting to sign him. The lack of spending money is up there on the list.

Currently, the Chargers have slightly over $10 million in cap space, according to Over The Cap. They can free up some of that with releasing players such as wide receiver Travis Benjamin, but it’s unlikely to occur.

Though the defensive tackle position is an area of need, Los Angeles is showing that they will go into the draft with an aggressive mentality to fill up the holes.

One player to not rule out either is Corey Liuget, who could be brought back for the 2019 season.
