RB Leipzig send Timo Werner response to Liverpool after Watford defeat

Liverpool received a Timo Werner message from RB Leipzig following their 3-0 Premier League defeat to Watford.

Liverpool have been linked with a transfer for Werner with the German striker recently revealing his admiration for the club and manager Jurgen Klopp.

Following the loss at Vicarage Road, Leipzig replied to the official Liverpool Twitter account using an image of the striker reacting with surprise while looking at his mobile phone.

The response received more than 1,000 retweets with supporters mostly taking the comment in good humour.
