Everton set asking price for Ademola Lookman as RB Leipzig hope to seal transfer deal

Everton have told RB Leipzig they must meet their asking price if they want to sign Ademola Lookman.

The Bundesliga side have reignited their interest in the Blues winger after failing with bids last summer.

Everton insisted Lookman was not for sale and stood firm in the face of Leipzig's offers – and the player's desire to leave Goodison.

The Blues are now prepared to sell the 21-year-old but only if the valuation of the youngster - thought to be in the region of £25m - is met.

Lookman has travelled to Switzerland with the Everton squad despite picking up an ankle injury in the friendly with Kariobangi Sharks last weekend and could be involved in the game with FC Sion on Sunday.

Marco Silva has repeatedly spoke of the faith he has in the 21-year-old but admitted that issues over his consistency in training meant he only picked him to start three Premier League games last season.

Everton, said to have rejected an opening offer of £15m this week, are likely to demand a package closer to £25m.
