Champions League football returns next week and that means Tottenham are back in action in Europe's top competition.
Finishing second behind Bayern Munich in the group stage, the Lilywhites once again face German opposition in the Round of 16 after they were drawn against RB Leipzig.
The first leg takes place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday evening, with the return leg at the Red Bull Arena on Tuesday, March 10.
The German side have been in outstanding form this season and they are in with a shout of winning the Bundesliga title as they currently trail leaders Bayern by one point.
Having lost in the final last season, Jose Mourinho's side really are going to have to be at their best against Leipzig if they are to advance to the latter stages of the competition once again.
Well, the German side have been dealt an injury blow ahead of next week's game in N17 as midfielder Tyler Adams has been ruled out of the first leg.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday's match against Werder Bremen, manager Julian Nagelsmann provided an injury update and revealed the bad news about the United States international.
"There's some bad news. Tyler Adams pulled his calf yesterday. He will definitely miss Werder and Spurs," he said. "Otherwise, there's nothing new to report."
Missing a number of games this season through injury, Adams has been back in the side recently and played the full 90 minutes on Sunday as they drew 0-0 against Bayern at the Allianz Arena.
