RB J.J. Taylor and K Quinn Nordin among Patriots’ inactives for Week 1

The New England Patriots had six inactive players for Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins at Gillette Stadium on Sunday. Running back J.J. Taylor, kicker Quinn Nordin, cornerback Shaun Wade, tackle Yodny Cajuste, tight end Devin Asiasi and LB Ronnie Perkins did not dress.

New England also activated quarterback Brian Hoyer and kicker Nick Folk from the practice squad. Folk will take over starting kicking duties and Hoyer will be the backup quarterback behind Mac Jones, who is currently the only QB on the active roster.

Though cornerback Jalen Mills and receiver Nelson Agholor were limited in practice on Friday and questionable for the game, they will play.

With Asiasi inactive, the Patriots will have Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith on the field.

New England will kick off at 4:25 p.m.
