RB Duke Johnson scores Texans’ first touchdown versus the Chiefs

Running back Duke Johnson got the Houston Texans their first touchdown of the game early in the second quarter.

Johnson caught an 11-yard pass from quarterback Deshaun Watson and extended toward the pylon and scored to help the Texans cut into the Kansas City Chiefs’ lead, 17-9.

The touchdown was Johnson’s first of the season and his first with the Texans after being traded to the club from the Cleveland Browns on Aug. 8.

Kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn missed the extra point, leaving the score 17-9 with 12:22 to go in the second quarter.
