RB David Johnson offers strong endorsement of Dolphins QB Josh Rosen

The narrative that has followed Josh Rosen around for the past two years or so is that he’s not likable. The evidence for these claims? We’re still waiting to see the first of it. Surely a UCLA teammate would have stepped up and provided some negative commentary of Rosen once he left for the NFL in 2018, right? Hasn’t happened.

But now that Rosen had a hard luck rookie season in Arizona, he’s sure to get detractors out west in the desert! Well, not exactly. Future Hall of Fame receiver Larry Fitzgerald has been complimentary of Josh Rosen every step of the way — and now another former teammate is joining in.

Cardinals running back David Johnson provided a pretty strong endorsement of Josh Rosen yesterday on SiriusXM radio.

“I definitely feel bad for Josh and what happened to him. The circumstances he was put in, it was rough for him.  Like I’ve been telling everyone, I think (Rosen)’s going to be one of the most dominant quarterbacks in this league,” said Johnson when asked about the shift at quarterback Arizona undertook this offseason.

A diplomatic answer? Absolutely. But Johnson didn’t have to offer that much of an in-depth response — considering Adam Schein’s question was centered around Kyler Murray.

The narrative around Rosen’s locker room presence is all be debunked at this point, regardless of his future success or failure.
