Rayton, 14, has now been missing for two days

Nottinghamshire Police say they are increasingly concerned for the safety of a 14-year-old boy who has gone missing and say they urgently want to hear from anyone who may have seen him.

The boy, who they named only as Rayton, was last seen in the Forest Town area of Mansfield more than two days ago, around 11pm on Friday March 24.

He is described as being around 5ft 4in tall with black hair. He was last seen wearing black tracksuit bottoms with two white stripes down the leg, a black puffa style coat that has green writing on the back and brown trainers.

The police said: "If you have seen Rayton or have any information on where he is, please call us on 101 quoting incident 1 of 25/03/2023."

The message was posted on Nottinghamshire Police's Facebook page along with a picture of the missing child.
