Raymond the Fitness Egg takes fresh dig at Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp

Raymond Verheijen has taken a fresh dig at Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

The outspoken fitness coach, better known to Liverpool fans as 'Raymond the Egg', has a long history of criticising the Reds boss.

Verheijen, a former coach for the Welsh national team, accused Klopp of being responsible for a number of injuries in the past due to his full throttle style of play, but has been noticeably quiet in recent years as the German led Liverpool to the European, world and Premier League titles.

However the Dutchman has taken aim at Jurgen Klopp in a bid to promote his new book, going so far as to label world champion Klopp as "incompetent".

His tweet read: “Jurgen Klopp’s evolution between 2015 and 2020.

"The new Football Braining book describes the competent & incompetent references in the brain of the Liverpool manager and how he eventually learned from his mistakes and updated his brain."

Verheijen markets himself as an expert fitness coach but has not been employed full-time by a professional club in recent years.

But the  outspoken Dutch fitness coach  has been  Klopp  's most fierce critic since the German became Reds manager back in October 2015, repeatedly bemoaning the 'gegenpress' philosophy.

Klopp even addressed Verheijen's criticism in 2016, hitting back at the comments of "some Dutch guy" in a press conference.

He said: "We play two games in 48 hours [at Christmas], there will be injuries and then some Dutch guy [on Twitter] will say things."
