Ray-Ray Armstrong will return to the Browns

The Browns are poised to lock up another former New York Giant. According to multiple reports (first by Mike Garafolo of NFL Network), the team has agreed to terms with reserve linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong to return to Cleveland in 2019.

Garafolo reports the deal is for one year and $2.25 million. The contract will not be official until the new NFL league year starts on Wednesday afternoon.

Armstrong joined the Browns last October after being waived by the Giants. He played in nine games in Cleveland, primarily on special teams.

The Miami product has bounced around the league since 2013. Cleveland is his fifth stop, and he’s played for multiple teams in four of the last five seasons.
