Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour believes that his former club are still miles away from competing at the top of the Premier League.
Gunners fans are in good spirits after two wins to start the season and some impressive business in the summer transfer window.
But Parlour thinks that supporters should not get carried away and expect Unai Emery's side to be challenging Man City and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League.
Speaking on talkSPORT, he explained: "We're so far behind Liverpool at the moment.
"They have started well with a good away win at Newcastle, the clean sheet was really important as that is where they have really struggled.
"And they got the job done against Burnley but it's two games you expect them to win. I'm not getting carried away at all.
"I've heard a few people saying 'we can challenge the league' but they are a million miles away from Man City and Liverpool.
"How many Arsenal players would get into the Man City side or Liverpool? You look at PA, Lacazette but then you look at their front three.
"The most important thing this season is getting back into the Champions League.

"Last season they had every opportunity, to maybe get even fourth.
"The run-in was horrendous and obviously the Europa League final was a big disappointment.
"This season I'm exactly the same.
"Maybe they can get higher and I hope they do with my Arsenal hat on but if they got fourth place I'd be delighted with that.
