Ray J And Princess Love Announce Divorce After Reconciliation Attempts.

Ray J and Princess Love are divorcing after much reflection and counseling.

Ray J and Princess Love have announced their decision to divorce after much reflection, discussion, and counseling. The couple, who share two children, Melody and Epik, got married in Los Angeles in August 2016 after four years of dating. In a statement shared on Instagram, Love expressed that their paths have diverged, leading to the difficult realization that parting ways is in their best interest.

Despite the end of their marriage, Ray J and Love are committed to co-parenting their children and maintaining a positive family dynamic. Love emphasized that the decision was made thoughtfully and with mutual respect for each other's well-being. She also mentioned trusting in God for the next chapter of their lives.

This divorce filing is the latest development in the couple's tumultuous relationship, which has been documented on VH1's Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. Their marital troubles first surfaced in 2019 when Love accused Ray J of leaving her and Melody stranded in Las Vegas, leading to talks of divorce.

Although they reconciled later that year, Love filed for divorce in May 2020, only to retract the filing two months later. Ray J then filed for divorce in September 2020, but the couple agreed to call it off in March 2021. Despite attempts to reconcile, Ray J filed for divorce again in October 2021, with the final dismissal granted in March 2023.

In a previous Instagram video, Ray J expressed his love for his family and his determination to fight for their happiness and safety. The couple's journey has been marked by ups and downs, with public scrutiny adding to the challenges they faced as a couple.
