Ray D'Arcy searching for Ireland's next big stand-up comedian for new RTE competition

Fancy yourself as the joker of your group?

If you frequently find yourself leaving people in fits of laughter, this upcoming competition could be just the thing for you.

RTE's Ray D'Arcy has launched a new search in the the hopes of finding Ireland's next big stand-up comedy star.

The 'Stand Up and Be Funny' competition has been launched across Ray's television and radio shows to showcase new comedy talent, so if you think you have what it takes, Ray wants to hear from you!

it won't be easy though, as to be in with a chance to appear on Ray's radio and television shows on RTE Radio One and RTE One and develop a comedy pilot for RTE Player, you have to enter a 3 minute video showcasing your comedic skill.

The closing date for applications is Friday October 25 at 4pm.
