Amid the growing buzz, Ravi has opened up about how his wife, Preeti Shukla, reacted to the memes and his sudden rise in social media popularity.
Ravi Kishan Observes Maun Vrat Amid Meme Fest
Speaking to News18, Ravi revealed that he decided to observe a maun vrat after noticing that several of his comments were being turned into memes online.
He also praised Gen Z for the way they have embraced his comments and turned them into humorous social media content. Ravi said he eventually realised that almost everything he said was becoming meme material, prompting him to stay quiet for some time.

Ravi also shared his wife's reaction to his newfound viral fame. According to the actor-politician, Preeti jokingly suggested keeping him indoors so that he would stop becoming a social media sensation.
"Humari patni boli kripya aap thode din shaant rahein varna tumhe ghar hi mein hum lock kardenge. Patni humko boli, ‘Tum ghar se nikalte ho toh viral hote ho,’ toh woh baccho ko bol rahi thi ki inko yahi kamre me lock kar dete hai. Na yeh niklenge na yeh viral honge (My wife said, ‘Please stay quiet for a few days, otherwise I’ll lock you up at home.’ My wife told me, ‘Whenever you step out of the house, you go viral.’ So she was telling the kids, ‘Let’s just lock him in this room. That way, he won’t step out, and he won’t go viral.)”

Ravi Kishan and Preeti Shukla have been married since 1993. The couple has four children, three daughters, Riva, Ishita and Tanishka, and a son, Saksham.

Meanwhile, Ravi Kishan is preparing for the release of Mirzapur: The Movie. The makers have unveiled the film's trailer, which continues the story of the popular Mirzapur franchise and brings back several of its well-known characters, including Kaleen Bhaiya, Munna Bhaiya and Guddu Pandit. Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu and Rasika Dugal are reprising their respective roles. Bablu Pandit, originally played by Vikrant Massey in the series, will be portrayed by Jitendra Kumar in the movie. Mirzapur: The Movie is scheduled to hit theatres on September 4.
