Ravens waive three players, place two on injured reserve

The Baltimore Ravens have a huge amount of depth at multiple positions on their roster this offseason. While it’s a great to have a plethora of playmakers, it will make for some tough decisions over the coming weeks as rosters get trimmed down to 53 players.

The first roster deadline comes on Tuesday, as by August 17th at 4PM EST teams must trim their roster to 85 players. Baltimore took steps towards doing that, waiving three players while placing another two on injured reserve.

Adeoye and Wolf both spent the 2020 season on the Ravens’ practice squad, while Harris was brought in during the midway point of last season, playing in four games for the team. Marshall will spend his third straight season on injured reserve as he’s only played in three games during his three year NFL career. Dorsey got hurt in practice last week, and now won’t see the field during the 2021 season.

Baltimore also signed quarterback Kenji Bahar in the wake of Trace McSorley’s back injury, which will keep him out multiple weeks.

With the three players waived, two placed on injured reserve and one signed, the Ravens’ roster currently stands at 86 players, so it looks like they’ll have to make one more move before Tuesday’s deadline.
