It’s been a long road to get to this point but the Baltimore Ravens will finally take on the Pittsburgh Steelers for Week 12. According to NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy, the game is officially a go. Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh will kick off at 3:40 p.m. ET today to wrap up Week 12’s games.
The pre-game point-of-care tests have come back and the Steelers are putting center Maurkice Pouncey on the Reserve/COVID-19 list while the Ravens had no additional positives, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. This officially marks the first day Baltimore has been without a positive COVID-19 test result, ending their infamous streak at 10 consecutive days.
If it feels like we’ve been waiting months for this game, you’d nearly be right. Originally scheduled to take place on Thanksgiving night, the game has been rescheduled three separate times. Ultimately, the game will take place six days after it was originally scheduled and 10 days from when the Ravens last played football.
Baltimore will be without 16 players, who are currently on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. That includes starters like running back J.K. Dobbins, wide receiver Willie Snead, defensive end Calais Campbell, and reigning MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson.
