Ravens vs. Redskins: WR Jaleel Scott is the Player of the Game

The Baltimore Ravens have kept their streak alive, closing out the 2019 preseason with a 4-0 record with their 20-7 win over the Washington Redskins. The Ravens managed to extend their preseason winning streak to 17-0 over the last four years because of the hard work from their players. But only one can win the game ball tonight against the Redskins.

Wide receiver Jaleel Scott is deserving of the honor for putting in a great performance. He finished the night catching six of his 10 targets for 87 yards and a perfect back-shoulder fade for a 24-yard touchdown.

Scott had been having a pretty good offseason, making plays in camp and in the previous three preseason games. Over four preseason games, Scott finished with a team-leading 11 receptions for 146 yards and two touchdowns. It’s a complete reversal for Scott, who was a non-factor on offense last year.

While Scott seemed to be in line for a spot on the Ravens’ 53-man roster this year, his performance tonight against Washington should cement it.
