Ravens vs. Jaguars highlights: CB Cyrus Jones takes INT to the house for pick-6

After seeing all the scoring the Baltimore Ravens’ offense and special teams has done tonight, the defense wanted to get in on the action. On a third-and-21 after back-to-back sacks, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Tanner Lee threw over the middle. But he never saw cornerback Cyrus Jones, who undercut the receiver for the big interception.

But Jones, who is also the Ravens’ punt returner, wasn’t done there. He took the interception the 19 yards into the end zone for a pick-six. It extended Baltimore’s lead to 26 in the middle of the third quarter.

Jones isn’t guaranteed a roster spot as the punt returner with wide receiver Willie Snead and even quarterback Trace McSorley getting some snaps there. He needs to play well in the secondary to warrant a spot on the Ravens’ 53-man roster this season. But if he can make big plays like this, Jones will not only find himself on the team and as a punt returner, but he’ll find his way to the field on defense as well.
