Ravens vs. Chiefs injury report: Mark Andrews returns Thursday

After seeing five players not practice at all, the Baltimore Ravens returned nearly everyone on Thursday. The most important being tight end Mark Andrews and fullback/defensive lineman Patrick Ricard.

Andrews has been dealing with a foot injury since last week but in spite of his “questionable” designation, he played in Week 2. Seeing him miss Wednesday’s practice was a concern but his return to limited participation should bring a sigh of relief to fans.

Defensive backs Jimmy Smith and Brynden Trawick are the only two players to miss Thursday’s practice. Smith has already pretty much been ruled out after suffering a knee sprain in Week 1 that will keep him out for a few weeks. Trawick suffered an elbow injury against the Arizona Cardinals and his status is now firmly up in the air for Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs’ injury report looks largely the same as Wednesday. The only change is running back LeSean McCoy upgraded to limited participation after missing Wednesday’s practice with an ankle injury.

Take a full look at which Ravens and Chiefs missed Thursday’s practice ahead of their Week 3 contest.
