The Ravens have their franchise pass rusher, hopefully for real this time.
According to multiple reports, Baltimore has agreed to terms with defensive end Trey Hendrickson on a four-year contract with up to $120 million. The deal includes $60 million fully guaranteed and a $20 million signing bonus.

Hendrickson spent the last five seasons with the Bengals, registering back-to-back 17.5-sack seasons in 2023 and ‘24 before an injury shortened his most recent campaign. The 31-year-old is a four-time Pro Bowler and earned first-team All-Pro honors in 2024.
Ravens pivot to Hendrickson after pulling out of Maxx Crosby trade
The Ravens’ agreement with Hendrickson comes after the fallout of their trade with the Raiders for Maxx Crosby—which Baltimore reportedly backed out of after the star pass rusher failed his physical.
Crosby, 28, underwent a meniscus repair in his knee earlier this year and had just recently stopped using crutches. That being said, his surgeon, Dr. Neal ElAttrache, says the 28-year-old is doing an “excellent job” in his rehab and that his knee is “responding well.”
Said prognosis, however, was seemingly not enough for Baltimore—who now moves forward with their two first-round picks in hand, a star edge defender in Hendrickson, and without Crosby.
