Ravens ticket prices staying put for 2nd year in a row

The Baltimore Ravens will keep ticket prices in place for the 2019 season, according to a report from the Baltimore Sun’s Jonas Shaffer.

After raising prices between 4.7 percent and 10.3 percent ahead of the 2017 season, the team will keep ticket prices steady for the second season in a row.

With the average Ravens home ticket costing $115.11, Baltimore had the sixth-highest average ticket price in the NFL in 2018. Demand, however, has waned some. Over eight-regular season games last season, the Ravens hosted 563,451 fans at M&T Bank Stadium, the 12th-best figure in the NFL and a slight drop from the 564,709 people the team brought in for the 2017 season.

However, Baltimore tickets may become more of a hot commodity this year. After several seasons of largely uninspired, middle-of-the-road football, the Ravens seem to have found new life. With dynamic quarterback Lamar Jackson under center and coach John Harbaugh having signed a new contract, there’s a lot to be excited about in Baltimore. Baltimore’s first playoff berth since 2014 should also go a long way toward packing the stadium again — something Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti believes as well.

“If winning is what we need to do to fill the stadium up, that’s part and parcel with why we’re here,” Bisciotti said in February 2018. “We’re here to win games, we’re here to succeed, and when we fail, the no-shows are a way of telling us that our fans aren’t pleased.”
