Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins reportedly feared to have suffered season-ending knee injury

The Baltimore Ravens saw up and coming running back J.K. Dobbins suffer a nasty looking knee injury in the first quarter of the team’s 37-3 preseason victory over the Washington Football Team. Dobbins couldn’t put any weight on his leg, and had to be carted back to the locker room. The second-year player looked dejected, as did the entire Baltimore sideline.

After the game, head coach John Harbaugh offered little in terms of an injury update for the running back, but did say that Dobbins would be getting tests on Sunday. However, the initial fears about the injury are not good.

Dobbins caught a screen pass and was hit low by a Washington defender, causing his leg to bend. He immediatly grabbed at his knee, which is never a good sign. While nothing is confirmed at this time, the injury looked bad when it happened. However, hopefully it isn’t as serious as feared. Many will be awaiting any update regarding Dobbins, but for right now, things aren’t looking too bright.
