Ravens place two players on Reserve/COVID-19 list

The Baltimore Ravens have had to deal with player absences for the entirety of the 2021 season so far. Injuries have been the key storyline, but illnesses have also taken their toll on Baltimore’s locker room. That’s been the case again in Week 15, as COVID has made it’s way to the Ravens’ organization.

On Thursday, Baltimore announced that they had placed two more players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list in safety Chuck Clark and running back Nate McCrary. Their additions come two days after center Trystan Colon was added to the list, and three days after wide receiver Binjimen Victor’s placement on it.

If Clark is unable to play in Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers, the Ravens would be without their entire expected starting secondary leading up to the 2021 season, as cornerbacks Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters as well as safety DeShon Elliott are all out.

McCrary signed with Baltimore’s practice squad a few weeks ago and was called up for their Week 13 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
