The Baltimore Ravens are scheduled to have four picks on Day 2 of the 2020 NFL Draft. With around 25-30 players still available who could immediately contribute, according to general manager Eric DeCosta, there are sure to be some great picks for Baltimore ahead of us.
With the first round wrapped up, I turned to FanSpeak to run a mock draft of the second and third rounds to see who the Ravens might pick. And I couldn’t have been any happier with the results. With four picks, I was able to get Baltimore two immediate starters and two players who could start as early as 2021.
Take a look at who I picked for the Ravens on Day 2 of the 2020 NFL Draft.

2nd round (No. 55): OL Lloyd Cushenberry, LSU
The Ravens haven’t ever drafted an LSU player before, so why not make it two in a row and reunite Queen with his former teammate in Cushenberry? In reality, Cushenberry was the top-rated player still on the board at a position of need and is the second-best interior offensive lineman in this draft class.
Cushenberry is technically sound and well polished, even if he doesn’t have the highest ceiling in this draft class. While Baltimore missed out on Cesar Ruiz in the first round, they get a guy that will compete for a starting job as a rookie. You can’t ever go wrong getting a potential starter at a position of need.

2nd round (No. 60): EDGE Terrell Lewis, Alabama
If it weren’t for some injury concerns, Lewis was probably going to be a first-round pick. While Lewis’ injury concerns might have him completely off Baltimore’s draft board, I think he’s an absolute steal this late in the second round and he gives the Ravens another impact player and potential starter at a position of need.
Lewis is an explosive pass rusher and projects to be a three-down outside linebacker for a team like Baltimore. He’s capable of setting the edge and has the speed to drop out into coverage or chase down outside plays if asked. With Matthew Judon only on the franchise tag, Lewis buys the Ravens a little insurance at the position, as long as he can stay healthy.

3rd round (No. 92): DL Raekwon Davis, Alabama
I’m actually shocked to see Davis still sitting here in the third round but I’m not going to let that surprise keep me from drafting him here. Davis is an athletic freak on the defensive line. He’s strong, fast, and agile despite standing at 6-foot-6 and 311 pounds.
Davis has all the physical tools to be a star in the NFL but will need some development to get there. Luckily for the Ravens and Davis, he’ll get a chance to learn from some of the best in the business under Calais Campbell, Derek Wolfe and Brandon Williams.
While Davis will undoubtedly see the field some as a rookie, he’s really a guy that will be primed for a breakout role in another year or two. He’s the potential heir and replacement to guys like Wolfe and Campbell, which makes him a great pickup for Baltimore in the third round.

3rd round (No. 106): RB Cam Akers, FSU
I know fans hate the idea of drafting a running back but the Ravens really need to plan for the future. In Akers, Baltimore gets a player who could start immediately but will be the replacement for Mark Ingram and Gus Edwards as early as 2021.
Akers has good size at 5-foot-10 and 217 pounds, making him capable of running inside and pass blocking. But Akers has amazing burst and speed with the vision to make the most of it. He’s dangerous in the open field and he’s a capable receiving threat out of the backfield.
Like most running backs coming into the draft, Akers is a little less refined as a blocker. He also has some minor issues with fumbling that will need to be corrected before the notoriously tough John Harbaugh would let him have too big of a role. But a year behind Ingram should polish Akers the rest of the way and turn him into a three-down running back.
