Ravens ILB Roquan Smith ‘looking forward’ to Wild Card matchup vs. Bengals

The Baltimore Ravens were beaten by the Cincinnati Bengals 27-16 to bring their final record to 10-7 on the season.  The team was playing their third-string quarterback Anthony Brown, who threw two crucial interceptions in the first half that led to 14 points.

The Baltimore played outstanding football for the most part, and limited the high-powered Bengals offense for most of the game. Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith spoke to the media after the game and was asked about how high the tensions were throughout the game, saying they were very high but he’s looking forward to next week when the two teams match up again.

“It was very high. We came up short, but I’m looking forward to next week, seeing these guys again. I think it’ll be even sweeter then. All the marbles.”

The Ravens decided to sit more players on the offensive side of the ball in order for them to rest and be ready for the Wild Card round.  By doing that  and by staying in the game today, it just shows how good of a team they can be, and if they get hot during the playoffs the possibilities are endless.
