Ravens HC John Harbaugh says TE Nick Boyle has ‘looked good’ in practice so far

The Baltimore Ravens have been decimated by injuries so far in 2021. They’ve had multiple players at many key positions go down for varying amounts of time, and have had to rely on many new faces to pick up some of the production that was lost.

Despite their injuries, Baltimore released a bit of positive news when it was announced that tight end Nick Boyle had been designated to return from injured reserve and had also returned to practice. When Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was asked about how Boyle has looked so far, he gave a brief response, saying that he’s “looked good”.

“He looked good. He practiced this week, so that’s where we’re at.”

Boyle is a big part of what Baltimore does on offense. The team has missed his ability to block at a very high level, which is much needed in an offense like what the Ravens run. Not only does he block at a high level, but he also has improved his receiving skills over the course of his career, becoming a nice do-it-all player.

The return of Boyle has been highly anticipated by many ever since he suffered a gruesome knee injury during the middle of 2020. When he is at full strength he is one of the best at what he does, so he will be welcomed back into the Baltimore offense with open arms.
