Ravens HC John Harbaugh explains how proud he is of team

The Baltimore Ravens’ 2021 season came to an end in Week 18 at home inside of M&T Bank Stadium. The Pittsburgh Steelers beat Baltimore 16-13 to keep their playoff hopes alive while officially eliminating the Ravens. Baltimore had a chance to make the playoffs if they won because the Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Indianapolis Colts, but needed other help with losses from the Miami Dolphins and the Los Angeles Chargers as well.

It was a tough season for the Ravens who lost their last six games of the year. However, they have been in every one of those games except for their Week 16 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals. In John Harbaugh’s postgame press conference, he mentioned that the team stuck together and they competed as best as they could.

“I’m proud of the guys. If you’re going to talk about the beginning of the season, [and] if you’re going to talk about it’s not what happens, it’s how you respond, then you better be ready to live it, I guess. They lived it. Like I told them in the locker room, there’s going to be a point in time in your life when your kids go through some tough times, they’re going to stack up on them a little bit, and they’re going to ask you why and what’s going on and how to handle it. You’ll be able to tell them this story, and that will be a strong testimony that you’re going to be able to have, because they did it. They stuck together. No one ever pointed a finger. Everybody competed the best they could.”

It’s going to be an interesting offseason for Baltimore.  Who will stay and who will the Ravens bring back?  The draft is going to be one to watch for as well since Baltimore is projected to have 10 draft picks.
