Report: Free agent DE Brent Urban to visit with Titans on Tuesday

While the initial splash of free agency is far gone, there are still some small signings the Tennessee Titans could plausibly make. One of these could be free agent defensive end Brent Urban.

According to a report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Urban is set to visit the Titans today.

Originally a 2014 fourth-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens, Urban missed his rookie season with a torn ACL. He was sidelined by injuries for the majority of 2015 and 2017 as well but started every game for the Ravens last year.

Urban made his impact felt on defense, recording 27 tackles and a half-sack, active on half of the Ravens’ defensive snaps.

If Urban is added to the roster, he will join the ranks of players like wide receiver Adam Humphries, offensive guard Rodger Saffold and defensive end Cameron Wake — all former free agents acquired by the Titans in the 2019 offseason.
