BALTIMORE — Ravens coach John Harbaugh had to be separated from several Tennessee Titans players minutes before kickoff for Sunday's game at M&T Bank Stadium.
The entire Titans team huddled on the Ravens' logo at midfield as they were introduced and Harbaugh appeared to take exception. The Ravens had not yet been introduced and were inside the tunnel, so only the Ravens coaches were on the field.
Harbaugh walked out to midfield and exchanged words with cornerback Malcolm Butler before Titans coach Mike Vrabel and others intervened, including the officials. After Vrabel directed his players to the sideline, Harbaugh and Vrabel continued to talk between officials.

The Titans also gathered at the Ravens' midfield logo before last season's divisional-round game in Baltimore, which Tennessee won, 28-12, to knock the top-seeded Ravens out of the playoffs.
After the game, a 30-24 Titans victory, Harbaugh and Vrabel did not shake hands at midfield. Vrabel told reporters that Harbaugh did not decline to shake his hand despite there being no handshake.
Harbaugh declined to elaborate about the pregame confrontation after the game, saying, "before the game, it's irrelevant."
