Ravens bring in free agent LB Vincent Rey for workout

The Baltimore Ravens brought in free agent linebacker Vincent Rey for a visit and workout at the team’s facility on Tuesday.

Rey — an undrafted free agent who has played his entire nine-year career with the Cincinnati Bengals — has 498 tackles, five interceptions and six sacks over 128 games (50 starts) with the Bengals.

With the Ravens having lost significant assets at the linebackers position this offseason — Terrell Suggs and Za’Darius Smith at outside linebacker and C.J. Mosley at middle linebacker — Rey could be a valuable addition, particularly because of his utility. Rey is regarded as a plug-and-play player at any of the linebacker positions, and at times called the signals for the Cincinnati defense.
