With an empty schedule in lockdown it's no surprise that Brits are spending all the extra time they have experimenting in the bedroom.
In the first two weeks of lockdown alone, sex toy sales increased by 25 per cent and the amount spent on them rose by 23 per cent.
Quidco, a money saving discount site, analysed internal purchasing data throughout the months of March and April to see which town in the UK bought the most sex toys - and the results are now in.
Quidco found that those in the south are more likely to spice up their sex life during lockdown, racking up the most number of orders over anywhere else.
The South East saw a 3.22 per cent increase in the number of users making purchases in this time frame, and the South West was close behind with a 2.7 per cent increase.
Following on, Scotland, the West Midlands and the North East all sat comfortably in the middle of the list with 1.82, 1.33 and 1.07 per cent respectively.
Northern Ireland on the other hand was ranked the least adventurous region with a 0.16 per cent rise, just below Wales at 0.39 per cent.
Quidco also discovered that Worcester made more adult toy purchases than anywhere else, making it the raunchiest town in the UK with a 0.46 per cent rise.
Shortly behind Worcester was Galashiels at 0.43 per cent, Bournemouth at 0.30 per cent and Bath in last place at 0.27 percent.
Chris Hutchings, Quidco CMO: "During the lockdown, sex toys and accessories seem to be in demand the world over; New Zealand recently revealed that lonely isolators and bored couples have caused sex toy sales to triple during their lockdown, so it’s not really surprising we’re seeing the same surge in demand.
"What is interesting though, is looking at where in the UK we’re seeing sales peaks in this category."
