Raul Sanllehi, transfers, Tim Lewis, Edu, Mikel Arteta and Gabriel Magalhaes - Arsenal Q&A live

Good afternoon and welcome to football.london 's live Q&A discussing all things Arsenal at the end of a dramatic week for the Gunners.

It feels a lifetime ago that Willian joined on a free transfer when it was only Friday morning. Rumours of Raul Sanllehi's departure had been growing from Thursday onwards but it still felt like a seismic shock around north London when Arsenal announced that their head of football would be leaving the club with immediate effect.

Vinai Venkatesham has stepped up to the club's sole leader, responsible for both on and off field matters.

The departure of Sanllehi is not expected to affect Arsenal's transfer business - their pursuit of Gabriel Magalhaes continues unabated - but how they do business may yet change significantly. Certainly, head coach Mikel Arteta's influence has dramatically grown.

That should be enough to secure the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is expected to dot the final is and cross the last ts on his three-year contract ahead of an announcement in the coming days.

Questions will also be asked about the influence of Tim Lewis, long-time lawyer to the Kroenkes who was appointed a non-executive director at Arsenal last month. He has been reviewing every aspect of club expenditure since his arrival and it is hard to see mere coincidence in Sanllehi's departure so soon after a shake-up at board level.

To discuss all those issues and more senior writer James Benge will be diving into our new comments system below from just after midday. Let him know what you want answers on by signing up below and joining the conversation...
