Arsenal are continuing to try and strengthen their attack this summer and have reportedly identified another forward to sign.
The Gunners are set to tie up a deal to sign Willian on a free transfer following the Brazilian winger's departure from Chelsea.
They are now reportedly eyeing up a move for Ajax star Quincy Promes.
The Sun report that Arsenal are keen on a £25m move for the 28-year-old, who has been linked with a move to the Emirates in the past.
Liverpool have also previously been linked with the winger, who scored 16 goals in 28 games this season before the coronavirus shutdown curtailed the Eredivisie season.
Mikel Arteta is said to be keen to bring Promes to the Emirates as he looks to kickstart his summer transfer plans.
The Dutch winger moved to Ajax for £14m from Sevilla last summer, returning to the club after spending six years in their academy.
Yet he is already said to be willing to depart Amsterdam if Arsenal do come calling.
Ajax's transfer approach means they are open to selling players should an acceptable offer come in for them.
The 42-time Dutch international came through the youth ranks at FC Twente after leaving Ajax as a youngster and also spent time at Go Ahead Eagles.
After featuring against Chelsea in the Champions League in November, Promes said he would be open to a move to England in the future.
He told Goal: "To me, if I have a chance, maybe in the future."
