Raul Jimenez drops hint after addressing Liverpool transfer links

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez has explained that transfer rumours linking him to Liverpool and elsewhere are inspiring him to keep improving.

The Mexico international has reportedly attracted interest from a number of Europe's top clubs after scoring 22 goals so far this season while adding 10 assists.

The frontman said it was "incredible" to be linked with the Reds as well as the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus and dropped a hint that he'd like to seal a move away from the Molineux stadium.

“It’s something very cool," the 29-year-old told Bolavip.

"I don’t know if they are true, they are rumours. Since they are talking about me, different teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool…They are teams that in the history of football are important.

"It’s an incredible thing to be on the radar, and on the lips of those teams.

"It’s something good to continue growing, making an effort and taking it as an incentive so that, if possible, give even more to achieve it.”

Jimenez is not the only Wolves player to have been mentioned with moving to another Premier League club.

Speculation has seen teammate Adama Traore linked with Liverpool too.
