Raul Jimenez admits Man Utd transfer interest is motivating factor as season restarts

Raul Jimenez says it is “incredible” to be a potential summer transfer target for a host of top clubs and is using it as motivation for the re-start.

Wolves ' Mexican striker is said to be on the radar of both Manchester United and Juventus.

It follows 22 goals in 44 matches in all competitions this season after 17 last term on loan from Benfica before a permanent record £33million switch.

Jimenez, 29, assessed: “'It is something very cool.

“Different teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool - they are teams that are important in football history.

“It is an incredible thing to be on the radar and on the lips of those teams.

“They are rumours but it is something good for me to continue growing, making an effort and taking it as an incentive so that, if possible, I can achieve it.”

Jimenez returns to action with Wolves on Saturday away at West Ham after the coronavirus shutdown.

He still has another three years left on his contract at Molineux.

But the star is ambitious about moving to one of Europe's biggest clubs one day.

“My dream team? Whatever one that signs me would be incredible,” he added.

“Imagine that right now I tell you one and in the end I go to the rival, they will reproach me all the time, I will get into trouble!”
