Chris Hughton was a happy man after Nottingham Forest beat Wycombe Wanderers 2-0 on Saturday.
Here is the full transcript of his post match press conference at the City Ground.
What did you make of the game?
"It was a tough game. Every who knows this league will look a the results today and this weekend," he said.
"They're a team that plays a direct style but they're effective. We were up against a real tough team.
"We had to work hard, defend very well and wait for those good opportunities.
"You can't underestimate the quality of the opposition and how hard you have to work to get results.
"The only disappointing thing is that at 2-0 the game is stretched.
"They were going for it and we had good opportunities to increase that lead. The keeper made a great save from Harry Arter and we got in a couple of positions where we might have done better but overall I'm delighted with our performance."
How pleased were you with Lyle Taylor and Miguel Guerrero?
"I'm probably more pleased for Guerrero. Lyle is one we know well," he said.
"We don't know so much about Guerrero. He's still feeling his way in. Is it the right game to play him? When should we bring him in?
"What we have in both of them is two players who haven't played a lot of 90 minutes in the last few months. I think there's more to come from both of them.
"That's a plus, particularly when we've been looking for more offensively."
That second goal came at an important time didn't it?
"It was a crucial goal. We were up against a team which was pushing and pushing to get back in the game. We were up against a team which with the way they play, it can be a ball that bounces.
"They get bodies forwards. There was always a threat at 1-0.
"It's only when you get that second goal that the game opens up. It was a really good cross for the first goal.
"The second goal was all Taylor's. When you're a striker that builds your confidence."
Did you see the confident attacking play you wanted in this game?
"I think we saw more to a degree. Defensively was a strong area.
"We had to get it right because they put you under constant pressure. Around that, we had to play offensively well enough.
"Over the 90 minutes I think we did. We got the ball in the wide areas, which we wanted to do.
"There were some good signs. We go into a good break now and then we have a series of difficult games.
How would rate your first few weeks here as we head into the international break?
"I would have to assess it as pleased, really delighted. What we've seen in this division is the value of three points.
"One of the draws could have been wins. I've mentioned the Rotherham game before.
"I have to be delighted because the team have gone through a difficult period. We hope we've see some signs of encouragement."
