Gardai have launched an investigation after a teenage girl was allegedly beaten and assaulted at a premises in Wicklow last week.
It is understood that the alleged incident happened in the Rathnew area at around 7pm on Wednesday 14 April.
The girl was taken to hospital for examination following the alleged attack.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who has any information on the incident to come forward.
A spokesman told Dublin Live: “Gardai in Wicklow are investigating an incident of alleged assault which is reported to have occurred on Wednesday 14th April, 2021 at a premises Rathnew, Co. Wicklow.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
