Residents in a Co Antrim housing estate have been urged to attend a community event on Friday.
The community fayre in Rathcoole, which has a population of around 8000, will take place in the Dunanney Centre from 4pm to 7pm and is designed to make residents aware of what’s going on in their area.
Willie McKee, from Rathcoole Regeneration, told Belfast Live: “This community fayre in the Dunanney Centre is just to let the residents of Rathcoole Estate know what is going on around them, Arts and Crafts, local history classes even the direction the local football team is going.

“We want the community to come out and start interacting with each other again and we want a community facility to both house the local projects and create a focal point for the estate.
“If you’re not sure what it’s about then just pop in for a cuppa tea.”
