Rathbones hires new investment director in Edinburgh

Rathbone Investment Management has appointed Guy Tulloch as an investment director in Edinburgh.

He has more than 20 years’ industry experience of managing investments for a range of private clients, trusts, charities and corporate entities.

Having worked in London since the 1990s, Tulloch returned to Scotland in 2008 to help establish HSBC’s private banking operation in the country.

He went on to head up the Scottish Lloyds Mayfair Private Banking team, before becoming an investment director at Tcam Asset Management.

When 7IM acquired the business in 2018 he moved to be a relationship manager at the firm.

Tulloch is also a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Simon Dewar, regional director of Rathbones in Edinburgh, commented: “Given his extensive experience, he will be a valuable addition to the team in Edinburgh as we continue to grow the business across Scotland.

Tulloch added: “Starting a new role remotely is an unusual experience, but the team couldn’t have been more welcoming and supportive.”

Rathbones manages more than £54.7bn of funds for individuals, charities and trustees across the UK - with Scottish offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
