Rate Man City players after first four games of Premier League season

Just like last season, Manchester City and Liverpool are setting the pace at the top of the Premier League.

Only one point could separate the sides last year, meaning City's draw with Tottenham could already prove to be season-defining.

But at the stage of the season, Pep Guardiola will simply be happy with the performances of his side, which have seen three wins and a draw with a league-high 14 goals scored.

Sergio Aguero has six of those goals, and Kevin De Bruyne has provided five assists in just four games. Striker Gabriel Jesus has also been desperately unlucky to have a solitary strike to his name after seeing two harsh VAR calls rob him of goals against West Ham and Tottenham.

But the fact remains that City are behind Liverpool at the first pause of the season, and have been handed two lengthy injury blows already to Aymeric Laporte and Leroy Sane.

So which players have impressed so far, and who could do with improving when domestic football returns next week?

Use the widget below to give each City player a mark out of ten for their performances so far this season, and we will calculate who is impressing most in the early games of the new campaign.
