Rate each Everton transfer deal so far in the summer window

After a season to forget in the Premier League last campaign, Everton and Frank Lampard will have their sights on challenging towards the top half of the table rather the being forced to fight until the penultimate game of the campaign to retain their top-flight staus.

Having picked up the pieces of former manager Rafa Benitez's disastrous short-term stint at Goodison Park, the former Derby County and Chelsea boss has worked closely with director of football Kevin Thelwell this summer to identify gaps within the Blues' squad ahead of the September 1 deadline.

Defensive duo James Tarkowski and Conor Coady have both made the move to Merseyside from Burnley and Wolves respectively, with the latter being a loan with an option to buy, which will hand Lampard the tools to instil a preferred back three system at Goodison Park.

Tarkowski arrived following the expiration of his contract at Turf Moor, while Coady, in a bid to secure his place at this winter's World Cup, departed Molineux after seven years of service. Ruben Vinagre has also joined for a season-long stint.

Further up the field, the Toffees added smart midfield reinforcements in the shape of Dwight McNeil and Amadou Onana. with the latter signing along the dotted lines on a deal worth in the excess of £30m at Finch Farm earlier this week.

Yet with just under a month left of the window, it has become clear, following the departure of Richarlison to Tottenham and Dominic Calvert-Lewin's spell on the sidelines, that Lampard needs to add another striker to his ranks if he and the Blues are serious about working their way back up the table this campaign.
