Rashford, James, Bailly - Man Utd injury list and expected return dates ahead of Granada

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer faces a selection headache for the second leg of Manchester United's Europa League tie with Granada on Wednesday evening.

The Reds go into the game at Old Trafford with the luxury of a two-goal lead from the first leg, but Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay are all suspended for the match.

Solskjaer also has some injury issues to contend with, meaning United's starting XI could be a slightly patched-up one on Thursday evening.

Here is United's injury list and expected return dates.

Marcus Rashford

Rashford could sit out the game against Granada due to an ongoing foot injury, which prevented him from training on Tuesday and Wednesday.

What Solskjaer said: "Marcus didn’t train this morning so I’ll have to give him as much time as possible, his foot is still a little bit sore, but fingers crossed he is available tomorrow"

Expected return date: April 18

Anthony Martial

The French attacker is set to miss the rest of the season after picking up a knee injury on international duty last month.

Yet he could be fit in time for the Euros at the end of the campaign.

What Solskjaer said: "Anthony has started his recovery and, if we see him before the end of the season, I will be very surprised."

Expected return date: N/A

Eric Bailly

Bailly has returned to England after testing positive for Covid-19 on international duty, but he is unavailable to face Granada, and it is not currently clear when he will be able to play again.

Expected return date: N/A

Daniel James

James missed United's victory over Spurs with an unspecified injury but is fit to face Granada.

What Solskjaer said: "Dan James is back. He trained this morning so he should be available."

Expected return date: April 15

Phil Jones

Versatile defender Jones continues to recuperate following knee surgery last summer. It remains to be seen whether he features at all this season.

What Solskjaer said: "I'm not sure how long it will be, how long is a piece of rope? Hopefully this season but if not then the start of next."

Expected return date: N/A
